The
Genz Log House
in the Forest is Mother Nature's own recipe for peace
and quiet, surrounded by the hills and valleys of Western Wisconsin.
ATTRACTIONS
& ACTIVITIES
The
hills and valleys of Western Wisconsin are shown off on this lovely and unique
property. The Eau Galle River, a class 3 trout stream at this point, runs
through a mile of the property. The river is not stocked for this part
of its length, but the excitement of trying to locate a fish still exists.
There are over 2 miles of
mowed grassy trails on the property providing non-motorized opportunities for
hiking, snow shoeing, or cross country skiing. The South Trail takes you to
the river and to cliffs along its banks. Wildlife abounds.
The
property is adjacent to the United States Army Corps of Engineers Highland
Ridge Campground where many more trails are available. The eagles nest
is a point of interest there.
Wild
turkeys flourish. Coyotes, fox, deer, and raccoon are a part of everyday
life. Wonderful opportunities abound for painters, photographers, and
bird watchers. Adventures for children are only as far away as their
imagination.
Serene and
quite, the nearest house is 1/2 mile away. Ideal for a secluded and
memorable honeymoon.
